  2. EU VAT is collected at checkout and paid to the EU as part of the shipping process.
EU customs duty (3 Euro per item type), on orders up to 150 Euro (approx. 130 GBP), is collected at checkout for some countries and paid to the EU as part of the shipping process.

The designs on this site are generally open source so you can recreate them yourself or modify them if you wish.

My kits and PCBs are available from Small Computers Direct, along with some of the components used in the kits.

Many of my designs have also been available through Tindie and Lectronz, which are market places for makers. However, I’m currently taking a break from supplying through these marketplaces.

Tindie: Tindie do not offer country specific pricing or tax calculations, so conforming to EU law regarding tax and duty collection is problematic. Therefore, I’m taking a break from selling on Tindie.

Lectronz: Lectronz collect US tariffs and EU sales tax (VAT) up to 150 Euros, so most EU customers will not have issues with customs. However, it is still causing me problems dealing with currency and shipping with the new EU customs rules. Therefore, I’m taking a break from selling on Lectronz.

Also, maintaining three different stores is very time consuming, especially with regular component price fluctuations such as the current high RAM prices.
