Individually, each of the above modules can be used with SC114, but there are restrictions when adding several of them at the same time. For example, you can not install two modules with the same I/O address. There are too many variables to describe fully here.

The above serial modules are automatically detected and supported by the Small Computer Monitor (as supplied in ROM). Some other modules, such as the I2C bus master, require suitable software to be used.

Notes

1. SC114 can be powered from the bit-bang serial port, from a serial module, or from a dedicated power supply module.
2. The ROM does not include save and load features. Storage modules are for use with additional software, such as CP/M.
3. Requires a serial module.
