The SC600 series of 40-pin RCbus backplanes and modules is now available.

This system has been designed specifically to get the most from the simple 40-pin RCBus. The 40-pin RCBus requires less soldering, has easier module insertion and removal, and has a wide range of compatible modules from various suppliers.

Built from SC600 series parts is the RCBus Alpha system. The basic RCBus Alpha system has the following features:

• Z80 processor
• 512k bytes RAM
• 2 x 512k bytes FLASH (RomWBW and SCM)
• 7.3728 MHz clock
• 11 status LEDs
• Voltage supervisor and reset
• At least one asynchronous serial port
• File storage (eg. MicroSD or Compact Flash)
• Backplane with power input

Additional modules and backplanes include:

• Backplane extension
• Compact Flash storage module
• Digital I/O module
• Real time clock module
• I2C bus master module
