SC126, v1.0, Software, CP/M

Two versions of CP/M 2.2 are available for SC126, Z180 Motherboard.

The recommended version is included as part of RomWBW for SC126. This version supports SD card storage, Compact flash storage (with add-on module), and both serial ports.

The second version is available for those familiar with CP/M for the RC2014.

A new version, together with more detailed instructions, is available here.

This version is specifically for SC126 (Z180 motherboard), with the Small Computer Monitor v1.0 configuration S6 in ROM.

It supports the two serial ports on SC126, and the official RC2014 Compact Flash module (or compatible). CP/M uses the serial ports with the settings supplied by the Small Computer Monitor.

The motherboard’s SD card and real-time clock features are NOT supported by this version of CP/M.

The CP/M software is supplied (below) in the form of a “PutSys” program. This program is loaded and run from the Small Computer Monitor and installs CP/M to a formatted Compact Flash card. Once installed to Compact Flash, CP/M can be started with the command “CPM”, from the Small Computer Monitor.
